This is a unique and very different place to stay. I would strongly recommend it but leave the pets at home.

Unique home. Beautiful property Noushin is a gracious host who couldn’t have done more to greet me upon arrival and show me around the property Pool was great! Spa even better Noushin also recommended Amy for massages and she was first class, as well. Thank you again for opening your home.

The Prana Residence Spa was exactly what we were looking for! A special and very interesting home with a wonderful indoor pool, outdoor whirlpool, a terrific interior, and a well-stocked kitchen. We had an awesome time and delighted to find that it was even bigger inside than it looked in the photos. Noushin was also a lovely and accommodating host!

My family and I very much enjoyed staying at the house. It was very clean, comfortable and so unusual. The indoor heated pool was a delight, as the kids (including my 7 month old baby) could enjoy the water for much longer than they normally can with cooler, outdoor pools. They loved their pool sessions and slept like rocks after all that activity. Oh, the outdoor hot tub was nice too, for the adults.

A place of 3 Rs: Relaxation, Romance and Rebirth! This well-published house is just amazing! My husband, our 9-year-old son and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously this weekend by being here. Every house has its own spirit and energy, which I am more and more aware of. Once we entered the door of this house, we felt the energy of deep tranquility and serenity. The house and the environment brought us to tranquility away from busy and noisy New York City. In addition, the sauna, indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub rejuvenated us. The spa facilities are additional tools for you to feel that you are a star in your own romantic movie and you can write your own script, especially when you are in the hot hub counting the stars in the clear blue sky. “Prana”, the name of the house, just speaks to the soul of the house–force of life. We immersed ourselves in the spirit of mindfulness and meditation. We also felt the strong transforming force and vivid life through our inner power. The opposite of life is not death, but lack of love. Through the beautiful selection of art work and simple yet soulful decor, the owner not only shares her physical place, but also shares her love for people. We love the house for many reasons and can only say that you will never experience that much joy and tranquility anywhere else.

This place is very different than any other place I’ve stayed in through out the world! You feel like you’ve been taken to another space in time!! My second time here. Relaxing and getting away from it all. It’s like being in a private resort of your own! Took a dip in the out door hot tub was so wonderful and relaxing, the ultimate feeling of being One with the nature! I defenitely recommend the experience at least once, but I am sure you will want to keep coming back here again!!

I spent a once-in-a-lifetime weekend at the Prana Residence Spa with my girlfriend. Love was in the air from the moment we arrived. We brought food with us which we prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. There is even a NutriBullet shake maker for healthy treats. It was extremely romantic to prepare the food together. Dining options include the kitchen counter, glass round table in the living room and glass round table in the enclosed sun room. Because this residence is far from neighbor houses we can freely move around in any attire. The curved walls make you feel you are in gigantic eggshell shielded from the disturbance of outside world, ready to rejuvenate. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with excellent mattress for sleeping and romantic activities. Behind the bed is a Jacuzzi bath. Behind the Jacuzzi, bathroom area with toilette without separating wall. If you are squeamish about using the toilette in front of your partner, two other bathrooms are available. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi on the outside deck accessible from the indoor pool with a short walk which may feel very long if you go in the winter cold. We had an early spring snowfall which helped with the wonder romance experience in the Jacuzzi. We continued the water miracle with swimming in the heated pool. The romance continued in the sauna which has a cold dip pool next to it. To top it off there is a double shower at the entrance of the pool which spells love & romance. The property is very serene for walking and listening to birds. There is also an incredible trail on the shore of the nearby Housatonic River.

Perfect house for a perfect vacation. Just as described the house is amazing. Peace and quite around, the heated pool was just what my 7mo baby needed and the outdoor hot tub was just what the adults needed after sunset. Everything was provided , from towels, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, plates, forks…etc. you just need to bring yourself and you will emerge in a relaxing atmosphere. If this would be a hotel I would give 10 stars. Noushin is a lovely lady that really cares about your comfort. Definitely will visit again.

We had a great time staying at Prana Residence Spa. The place was exactly like the photos show and it was a great escape for the long weekend in February.

The weekend we went was exceptionally cold for that time of year but we didn’t notice at all. The fireplace inside kept us warm and the sauna, pool and hot tub were perfect way to relax while we were cooped up inside.

The house itself is very unique with a lot of character. It was fun to slowly uncover its personality (and the host’s) over the three days we were there. The place is also well stocked. There are lots of plates, multiple sizes of bowls, all kinds of different glasses, knives, serving dishes .. You could go there and throw a very classy dinner party.

The town of Kent is close by (around 15mins drive) and people are generally very friendly, always ready to chat and help out. The town has a few art galleries and interesting shops as well as a grocery store where we did most of our shopping.

Overall we had a great time at the Spa. It was a unique experience and we would definitely come again, in the summer or again in the winter.

What a fun weekend! We took our three kids from New Jersey to get away, and we had a fantastic time. The house is very cozy and homey on the inside, despite the igloo exterior. The main room was was our hang out space, playing games and reading, and nobody felt on top of each other. The upstairs bedrooms were perfect for the kids, and the main floor master bedroom was perfect for my husband and me. We played Marco Polo in the pool, relaxed in the hot tub and sauna, and went out to some really cute nearby restaurants (we really recommend When Pigs Fly Southern BBQ and the Fife N Drum). Noushin was so gracious, meeting us there personally to show us how to work everything. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear, and we had a roaring fire all weekend. I would highly recommend this home for a short or extended stay – the surrounding area was beautiful.

We had a great weekend get away with friends at Prana — the house is warm and cozy (and the living room was far more spacious than I anticipated from the photos), the grounds are beautiful and secluded, the location is great (near excellent hiking and boating), and the spa/pool is just the best set of amenities ever. Sauna –> ice plunge –> pool –> hot tub –> hang out in front of wood burning living room stove –> repeat. Best time ever.

The two 3-year-olds in our party required a little extra supervision, what with the spiral staircase and wood stove, but I was glad to see that the spa facilities could be closed off at least, and anyways it was totally manageable and they had a great time swimming and running around outside.

We’re looking forward to coming back, hopefully sometime soon!

“My husband Zhen and I spent the best thanks giving weekend at Prana. This experience was like a fantasy dream! Prana is not a boring, common or a big-box house; instead, it is a interesting, unique, gigantic white statue consisting of irregular facades and inner spaces. Living in such a novel architecture, one will find pleasant surprises, such as the solarium, the sauna, the inner swimming poor, cozy and hot tub. All of them send off an inspiring, and pure and fresh feeling, and make you feel relax and peaceful. If you want to run away from tired armored concrete forest, and enjoy a free life as birds do, Please go to Prana ! It will bring you out of reality to a world of tranquility and inspiration.”

When he and his family staid at the Prana residence –Spa for three days: “It was he perfect place to escape the city and try something a little different. I am used to taking vacations in the country but Prana offered facilities not often found, and at such an amazing price point! I spent most of my time swimming, steaming and relaxing in the hot tub! It felt like it was our very own home away from home and we felt very comfortable there. The location is nicely secluded while still a short driving distance from some lovely towns and villages. We are also avid cyclists and the area has some great routes with some challenging climbs and amazing views! I recommend to everyone.”

A Celebration of a Special Place

Now here’s a magical place to stay.
A tranquil spot in which to lay
    Your weary soul–and say
–What a beautiful, balmy day today
(Whether in Winter, Fall or mellow May)
Here’s the place to rediscover your way
In hot tub, pool or sauna–quite an array!
In this Nirvana where you never say nay
You just celebrate your life each lovely day
With cries of joy and great big yays!
    and Yays!
    and even more–YAYS!
    Hey, hey!
